An Old-Fashioned French Lesson | ASMR Teacher Roleplay (chalkboard, abacus, soft spoken)

Moonlight Cottage ASMR

Let’s learn and relax with a 19th century-like french class 🙂 This was highly requested and I hope you’ll enjoy !
Please be aware that the map shown in the video is a 1571 reproduction, used for its aesthetics. A lot of names and delineations are absolutely not accurate, even for the 19th century. Thank you 🙂

00:00 Intro
01:18 Welcoming you & taking the register (inaudible whispers)
02:48 A few words about the french language (tracing)
03:50 French alphabet (pointing on the chalkboard)
06:47 Basic phrases (writing on the chalkboard)
14:35 Counting (abacus)
19:28 Learning words (wooden tokens, paper sounds, inaudible whispers)
26:37 Choosing a book / french reading (crinkly books)

And did you know…
French has been the official language of diplomacy in Europe for a very long time.
Like french, romanian is another language that derives from latin.
French is currently spoken in more than 40 countries spread out across 5 continents !

  1. Hello ! This roleplay was mainly inspired by the Little Women movies (especially the 1994 version, my favorite), and I hope you’ll enjoy the nostalgic vibes 🙂 Prenez place, et que la leçon commence !

even after sampling both verbally as they both seemed hard to us so we tossed a coin and it was heads German tails French.
