maybe you should , if you haven't already, at impasto style. it utilises acrilic paint in very bold marks and colours. it can be difficult to grasp at the beginning but can be a very liberating and enjoyable way of working, I am using it in a mock GCSE portrait and I think you might find it fun to work with

In the book Ella Enchanted, there is a girl described as having Cinnamon colored skin. The very first color you used made me think of that, and now I want to see someone paint her. π
This video would be EVEN BETTER if you put the piece of paper used for mixing somewhere where it is better visible. The act of watching somebody mix the colours to get just the right shade is what I love the most.
