How did you know that I was struggling to fall asleep just right now??

  3. Huh.. I just played the video and I’m not hearing anything. Are my headphones brok-

    Hello Everyone

    ….Oh

  4. Sim Kern says:

I’m telling my family I’m a sommelier now—I took a course and everything.

(Hey I’m starting a literary analysis ASMR channel, which some of your viewers might enjoy! First up: Shakespeare’s Sonnet 98 https://youtu.be/FI8ErVj2_Kw)

  5. ruabadfish02 says:

I don’t drink anymore because I loved wine a bit too much. 🤣😵 Grew up in the Napa Valley region so this topic is still fascinating. As always, you are magic.

  6. Sleepy Time 😴😴😴

  7. Very interesting.
I live in wine country;(Niagara Ontario Canada) , yet know almost nothing about wine.
Thank you for enlightening me. 😊🍇🍷

  8. Q_wertz says:

Oh noice a new vid about my prefered subject ! Oui bon je suis français je crois que ça sert à rien que j'écrive en anglais 😅😂…

  9. Ahh, Châteauneuf du Pape is also my mum's favourite! (I myself prefer lightly fruity whites.)

And even though I've heard this fact before, I still think it's wild that historical cultures like the Greeks diluted their wine so heavily. We'd all be uncultured drunkards to them nowadays, even the wine snobs.

  10. Thank you for this informative and relaxing video, FW! Cheers

  11. Ian Reptil says:

If this interested you, he also uploaded a Wine Tasting video a few years ago too which is also very enjoyable. Give it a watch!!
Thanks for the uploads, big man!!

  12. Bilb Ono says:

    killin it and thrillin it

  13. This is such a french video haha !
Tu devrais faire plus de vidéos en français ça fait longtemps 😄 (même si ton audience doit être plus internationale, ce qui est compréhensible que tu fasses tes vidéos en anglais 😉)

  14. Lucy Ricardo says:

I'm so beyond excited for this!

  15. Eleanor H says:

Had a bit too much wine this evening so I'll probably not find out much more cause I'm hella tired

  16. ASMR by Evie says:

Hey you! Yes, you. You are good, you are worthy, and you are loved. I hope you feel this way today. If not, I hope you’ll let me affirm you in this ♥️

Mr. Whisperer, I will be falling asleep to this tonight on Apple Music!! So happy you joined those platforms.

  17. G David says:

    What a sumptuous treat

  18. SmallEyez says:

A MASTER CLASS. You are without a question the number one educational / history Based ASMRtist in the world good sir! 💯✨🙏🏾 thank you for all that you do

  19. "…but it is just a drink."

    Are you SURE you're French?

    Lol, fantastic video as always.

  20. Amy Moffitt says:

The French Whisperer + discussing wine = the perfect pairing. Thank you for this! ❤

  21. How about "History of the Inca"?

  22. Let's see… Sliced Italian and challah bread, check. Kalamata and Sicilian green olives, check. New Zealand cheddar and cream Havarti cheeses, check. Prosciutto and capicola, check. Diced cantalope and honeydew, check. Glass of Rosso di Montalcino, check. Glass of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, check. Glass of Barolo, check.

    Mm. Alright, let's do this.

  23. Stefan B. says:

As an à propos in the Hammer Horror anthology based on E. A. Poe's stories, the ""The Black Cat" segment features quite a humorous wine tasting duel between Vincent Price and Peter Lorre. The latter plays a drunkard with no style and decorum who nevertheless bests the professional wine connoisseur played by Price.

  24. Love this! You always help me sleep so well and feel more cultured lol. Hope you're staying safe! 😊

  25. Johnny Utah says:

Scotland here! Really enjoyed the first video on this topic, so really looking forward to this longer version. Thank you again to the main Frenchman for calming restless minds in these unprecedented times.

  26. lalalisa says:

I was in the Napa Valley area earlier this year. I need to get to France or Italy for their wine!

  27. Tommy9834 says:

Most ASMR videos I play to fall asleep, but these videos I play throughout the day cause the subject matter is always interesting.

  28. Do you know why you're my favourite ASMR Artist? Because I always learn so many things from watching your videos, and because your voice is like being wrapped up in a fluffy blanket straight from the dryer. 🥰

  29. Jaclyn Casey says:

I can’t wait to fall asleep to this and wake up with no hangover!

  30. Can you do a whole video on Eleanor of Aquitaine? She's such a fascinating historical character. This made me think about the wine tasting video from a few years ago…a favorite of mine, and now a new favorite!

  31. Matt.A 8798 says:

Your videos are so amazing. I learn so much. Never change

  32. I truly appreciate that your videos are educational. It is a perfect pairing – to fall asleep to your enveloping voice while learning.

  33. Please do one about beer or liquor

  34. Rosé Malbec which I can never find.

  35. Utterly divine!

    Zzzzzzz….

  36. ASMaRio says:

  37. Zoeke Seeka says:

Again thanks for the amazing video! So a lot of people are fasting because of Ramadan right now. And it is quite fascinating me. Could you possibly do a video on Ramadan?

  38. nichoyeah says:

I have rewatched the old wine tasting video which was only 10 minutes, about 100 times!! Now you give us a new 1 and a half hour long version. Thank you SO much! I love your videos. Please don't ever leave YouTube again!!

  39. munn2006 says:

"I'm going to assume you know nothing" is a good assumption to make of me at all times

  40. Oo. Scars says:

Une version française est prévue ?

  41. Haven't even watched it yet, but I know I'm gonna love it!

  42. All this fascinating history reminded me, somehow, a degustation of a certain cask of amontillado in a cellar of a small italian city, during a carnival celebration…but this is another history.
Remarkable content, as usual, monsieur FW.

  43. Tomas Arana says:

Who else remembers the OG wine video?

  44. Omg. Yes. 1 hour and 22 minutes. You're spoiling us!!! Your wine tasting video was definently one of my favorites! Thank you!
