Homemade Daifuku mochi! Craving mochi, so I decided to make some. So easy to make yet so good. The juicyness of the strawberry goes so well with the chewiness of the mochi and sweetness of the sweet bean paste. Makes me wonder why I don’t make it more often. This is an ASMR/ Mukbang video. The definition of ASMR is as follows:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of “low-grade euphoria” characterized by “a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin”. It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Mukbang is an online audiovisual broadcast in which a host eats large quantities of food while interacting with their audience. This is has grown in popularity over the years especially in Korea.
