Might be the USB cable? The USB port of your laptop? The recording software even? I'd systematically change each of these out one at a time to find the culprit.
pretty sure its muffled because its only recording from one side. think omnidirectional is the mode you want.

if it's happening with both mics it's most likely something to do with your laptop, (unless you used the old usb from the grey yeti?) Try plugging it into a different usb port if you've got one, if it isn't that it could be an issue with the software you're using to record/upload, I did a bit of sound editing in uni, (far from an expert but I might be able to help haha) drop me a message if you need a hand mate

Try using a different program like Audacity or Adobe Audition and maybe a different USB slot. Also, in the video you said it sounds much better for you? Could you not tell the issue was present during the recording?

Yeah probably either the usb cable , well not if you're using the new one from the box, possibly your connection port then, Dow load the yeti Sherpa driver and see if that helps? Sorry if you've already tried this, I have a yeti I fixed myself from usb port troubles so I know the struggle

Good News! Fixed the binaural so itโs not muffled – was the programme was using to record! Audio sounds much better! Though the audio is flipped so not right ears…. anyone know how to flip on audacity?

Sounds like only the right audio channel is being recorded. Could be something with your recording software or editing software. It's also good to make sure you set a high bitrate and use the same audio sample rate that the mic has (usually 44100 Hz) when rendering the video.
just a tip as well, there is a very low but noticeable hum on the line from the mic, the sound quality could be improved by recording the audio to your laptop without the laptop charger plugged in; because the noise in the AC 240V wall power will transmit to the power going to the mic. this would probably get rid of that hum as well.
