ASMR Sketching a New Oil Painting, Scratching Sounds, Soft Spoken, Pencil Sketch

Classically Trained ASMR

A new hobby of mine is oil painting, and even though I am not very good at it yet, I though I would share. In this video, I sketch in pencil a new painting I’m doing of a lighthouse in Door County, WI. Yes, this is technically an ASMR painting, but I don’t paint in this video. I’m not terribly good at drawing, but this loose sketch will work for the upcoming painting. This will be my first lighthouse painting.

You’ll hear scratching sounds with a pencil and of course, soft spoken narration. I do apologize for the bad audio at the beginning. I forgot to put on the windscreen before I started talking and I was too close to the mic. Since I couldn’t re-shoot, you get some plosives at the beginning.
