ASMR Sounds 71: Newspaper Wrapping, Tape and Gloves

People asked for videos with newspaper and tape sounds so wrapping some books in newspaper seemed to be a good way to combine the two. Also no talking in this video.

I’m wearing some nice new leather gloves in this video too, which may make some difference in the type of glove sounds (let me know if you notice a difference). Also I severely underestimated how difficult it is to stick tape things while wearing gloves lol.

Apologies that the video quality appears a bit murky in this one. I had a bunch of rendering problems that I haven’t had time to try and resolve yet but I wanted to make sure I still got a video up for this week.

What is ASMR?

Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a euphoric experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation.

ASMR videos are aimed at triggering this feeling as well as aiding in relaxation, sleep and dealing with stress and anxiety.
