This video is a compilation of multiple videos of peeling off masking tape after painting and showing you the finished paintings. I filmed and recorded the tape peeling part of all my paintings (on watercolor paper) since the beginning of this year and compiled them into this video. Most of these are paintings you have seen, if you watch my speed painting videos, but there is one spoiler in there of an upcoming painting video.
I usually tape down my watercolor paper to a hardboard when painting with watercolors or acrylics. It's a way to stretch the paper and keep it straight while painting and it will also leave a white border around the painting, when you peel off the tape after the painting is finished and dry.
I do want to eventually get water-activated tape and properly stretch watercolor paper wet to prevent it from buckling, but this is the method I've been using so far.

This is so satisfying and calming! What a brilliant idea for a video too — I always chop my tape peeling footage out of videos so they don't end up too long but a compilation is such a smart use for all that unused video!
