I relate to this movie because at the time it was released I was stationed on the Kitty Hawk in Japan. I met a man I fell in love with. We parted ways but I hope he's happy.

This movie should be considered racist because the lead is a White male. In this day and age, this is offensive OFFENSIVE I tell ya.

Contrary to advertising, there is not one "hilarious" moment in this film. It's a wonderful film about conscious people. It's a winner because there are no clichés! (Who doesn't see themselves in this fllm?)
"Flat-out hilarious" is not how I would describe this. The humor was subtle rather than laugh-out-loud. I did enjoy Scarlet's character as it reminded me of someone I used to date.
Dang scarletts voice is so different in this movie compared to others
