These are just keyboards right? Like the things you type on? Imagine spending this much time, thought, and money (of all the things somebody could spend money on….) on a keyboard. People will literally fetishize anything. Just to clarify, these keyboards you're talking about, they're normal keyboards? they don't give you some magical powers or type by themselves right? Just making sure I understand the situation.

Im confused why wouldn't the switch tester come assembled?
The gasket mount allows for a little bit of flex and isolates the the plate from the case so it’s a bit sifter and quieter to type on. Also, speed switches actuate much higher on the stem so they register faster making for faster typing which is good if your a fast and light typist or good for gaming, they are kind of considered a “gaming switch”. And the kailh pro purples are kind of a knock off of the zealios you liked. I prefer the box thick clicks, they use a click at mechanism to produce the sound and tactility so they actual click on the downward stroke and on the way up giving each stroke a double click. I’m currently using whites but I like jades as well. For my non click board I use outemu blue which I get cheaply on mechmarket.
