This is the outhouse on Esther’s island. It’s interesting to see how it is set up. A hole, a box, a seat, toiletries. Fill it with soil and dig a new one when it fills up.

My Aunt Gertie lived on a farm and had an outhouse when I was a kid (in the 70's and 80s). She did finally get indoor plumbing in the kitchen, but kept the outhouse in the woods! She was the coolest little lady. I used to love going to her house. SPOTLESS, she kept it! Her outhouse was your typical shack building (door and all), roll of toilet paper, and a Sears & Roebuck catalog.

Nice to be privy to the video. Some might poo poo the setup. That's a commodious box under the seat. Looks like you had to put a lid on the situation. If you burn the lid, you can say you smoked a lid. If someone finds the outhouse, it's much to their relief. I'm on a roll! (A different kind of tp)
