I know its supposed to be relaxing but I almost cried when he flipped the canvas over and I realized he still had to scrape off all the glue

Scraping the back part is the most satisfying
Job must be one of your distant ancestors. I'm not sure he would have kept faith during this job – especially the back where you don't even get the satisfaction of seeing a pretty painting revealed during the scraping.
