  1. And this is how we evaluate equipment with getting copyright strikes.

  2. That sounds awesome for a 78RPM record.

  3. RJDA Dakota says:

    That’s the best I’ve ever heard of from a 78 r/min record!

  4. Madness832 says:

Beginning of first record, sure daddy wasn't in the cellar, building a fallout shelter?

  5. A Floyd says:

    Milk bottles clinked.
    Not in my country! 😹

  6. Dj Danny G says:

I have the Newmark PT 01 that is a clone of this ion, would it also play vertically do you know?. I love those sound effects records

  7. The last part when it had theclocks and the cash register made me think of pink Floyd's dark side of the moon album

  8. James Alley says:

0:19 i wonder if theres a backstory between Ion Audio & Walmart due to the spark/ion logo.

  9. John Riopel says:

Its a completely different listening experience when you play this video at 25% normal playback speed.

Please, somebody help me here, while I was listening to this (and laughing a lot), in my head it turned into some sort of psychotic chilling comedy where the narrator was some sort of sick psycho killer. Maybe I should get my brain checked ? ooer ! 🙂

    Great anti skating there

  12. So on the first record, Dick and Sally heard all that from OUTSIDE the house? Are they super-human or what? LOL.

    What a brilliant turntable.

  13. Solvalou says:

    That's a very nice sounding 78 wow.

  14. Martin D A says:

Ha ha … What you see is the angle always below 90 degrees..Unless he stuck the disc down.
Any downforce set with a spring gauge will manage this magic of course.

  15. Hm I just finished vacuuming the hallway, washing a small carpet, some towels, the mop, the bathtub, the bathroom floor, then I washed the dishes after dinner. No dog, no sawing, no hammering (that's for tonight). Sounds like ASMR in real life…

  16. Hey McFly says:

Audiophiles be like " Look how the record hangs off the edge of the undersized platter, look at the built in speaker, no decent player has built in speakers"
Wait….this is made by ION ???? I have currently their ION Max LP Turntable, made of wood ,but I'm having to get rid of it as I'm hearing lot's of audiophiles informing me that it'll destroy my record collection.

  17. Hey McFly says:

I missed your voice, your butter toffee candy voice 😥

  18. Otokichi786 says:

"ASMR"? Real ASMR can be heard in "Subnautica" play throughs, especially in the early game/"Safe Shallows.";)

Dick & Sally. Really shouldn’t still laugh as a 24 year old but goddamnit if I didn’t laugh like a 14 year old. But anyway the sound quality is amazing for a 78. That mic is so nice and warm. Really soothing on the ears.

"78 RPM vinyl" …talk about a weird in between format most couldn't use or use well…..
cant use it on windup acoustic gramophones and most early pre-1950's electric 78rpm players in general have stylus weight will have been designed for shellac and no advantage of Vinyls use for longer playing times

  23. AmstradExin says:

Reminds me of 'The Secret Life of Mr. Black' (:

  24. Andrew Rood says:

I know they were pressed on vinyl but were they microgroove recordings? They certainly played a very long time per side for 78 RPM discs. Generally, standard groove 78s played for maybe three or four minutes per side.

  25. Rob F says:

Album is complete, sound is like a good micro groove record

  26. T W Huning says:

I have the Numark PT-01. If the batteries are not removed promptly when the unit is not in use, they will discharge on their own. 78 rpm records sound okay when I connect the PT-01 (with a 3 mil stylus) to my sound systen with KLH speakers, but the sound is noticably better when they are played on my turntable with a magnetic cartridge. I bought the PT-01 for auditioning records at used record stores.

Dick and Sally have amazing hearing. Except they didn't hear Father hit his thumb with the hammer and let loose a string of profanities.
I call BS on Grandfather's ducks… I've heard better duck sounds on a See 'n' Say.
Also, someone should definitely do a YouTube Poop of these albums. It would be fairly easy to make the water running be Dick tinkling in the sink!
