Oh God the struggle. I live these videos and this is the one i look forward to all year but at the same time im one of those people who's teeth hurt at the sound of the brush against canvas.

love this i wish i could paint … id love to create … i did one of those paint nites last year and i made a 'mess' but many said it looked great even though it looked NOTHING like they were teaching in the class I decided to add a tree and a fierce sky cuz the clouds got messy haha but the instructor said its your painting … go Van Gogh on it and i did 🙂

For that first picture you ever painted, you did the clouds and that water reflection perfectly! I would keep painting if I were you because you’re certainly not the worst painter out there : If that’s even possible to be bad at painting

Hi Mary! I've been watching some of your videos & really had no intention of subscribing. Just watching in the background, so to speak, but when I heard you talking about being such a fan o Bob Ross….you sold me! I too am a Bob Ross fan, & like you, he just made me feel so calm & at peace with the world. I always loved it when he talked about "God's little creatures". I wish you would paint more than just once a year! You do a lovely job and listening to you talk as you paint is kind of like visiting an old friend and sipping coffee with them while they paint. You gave me that feeling of being calm & at peace with the world. Love your channel and your sweet and lovely disposition….the world could use a lot more just like you. Keep up the good work and God bless!
