TikTok cooking sensations ‘The Men With The Pot’ have sent the internet into meltdown with their mouth-watering outdoor cooking vids.

Originally from the south of Poland, barmen Sławek Kalkraut and Krzysztof Szymanski show how to create rustic delights using simple ingredients and an open fire in the forests around Fermanagh, Ireland, where they now live and work as barmen.

The al fresco cooking duo have clocked up million of followers on social media with their mouth-watering takes on traditional Polish dishes.MenWithThePot/Facebook

Uploading their fist video on Facebook in 2019, by April 2020 they had switched to TikTok which, they say, is when it “really took off.”

The videos have now been viewed by millions looking to get tips on how to create delicious food on a simple budget.

The pair rarely say a word during the videos marketing them as ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) videos, a genre that has exploded on YouTube and in the podcasting world in the past few years with the focus being on stimulation through sound.

Most ASMR food-related videos are of the noises made by people eating but Sławek and Krzysztof use the natural sounds of nature along with food preparation and cooking.

The guys have tackled some of Poland’s more famous delicacies such as pierogi, zapiekanka (a type of French bread pizza) and gołąbki (cabbage wraps) as well as international favourites such as lasagne, curry and calzone.

Their most popular video on TikTok has over 36 million views and shows the viewer how to prepare primavera chicken where they slice chicken breasts and stuff them with vegetables and cheese.

Now they have been awarded TikTok’s prestigious Creator Fund which aims at giving the platform’s “best and brightest the opportunity to earn money with their creative talent.”

Writing on their website, they said: “People are so busy these days and don’t have the time to enjoy the simple things in life.

“As MenWithThePot we can show them that simplicity matters.

“The TikTok Fund will allow us to chase our dreams, focus on what matters to us and I can guarantee that you will hear about MenWithThePot much more often.”
