Watch Cover Star Lucy Hale Take Cosmo’s ‘Expensive Taste Test’

So, if you’re going to be the face of our mag, you know what that means…you’re being thrown into the waters (or production studio, whatever, let me be dramatic) of Expensive Taste Test to prove your ~celeb~ status. Say hello to the lovely Lucy Hale, aka our March cover star. The woman can act and she can sing, and she also has a wild and shocking knowledge for ranch dressing and lip balm. The more you know?! I’m pretty sure the last time I ever wore or was in the presence of a pair of stockings was circa 2005, but Lucy must be amongst them on the reg because she KNOWS ’em. She touched, she felt, and she conquered. She got a diamond for round one. I will personally just give this next one to her because if you’re handed made to judge dog collars and you’ve got a pupper of your own, of course you’re going to have them in mind. Elvis, her human doge, would apparently be seen IRL wearing the smaller, daintier, *$15* collar which she naturally thought was the pricier out of her options. Sometimes the cute stuff isn’t always the one with the higher price tag, ladies and fur friends!!

Lucy was rockin’ it in the beauty department. She was able to pick out the $60 rose quartz roller just based on its weight. But her (one) winning streak came to an end when it came down to false eyelashes. She was positive that more expensive ones were the cheaper kind considering they looked like “bugs.” Well Luce, people are dropping bank to have fluffy insects on their eyes because those are worth a whopping thirty big ones!! (Bills, U.S. dollar bills).
