I've just discovered your channel! I've been scrolling through YouTube to find tutorials as I've gotten very rusty – and I love your attitude to painting! To be free with it and do your thing. Your paintings are beautiful and I love your commentary. I'm recently diagnosed with a life altering illness and painting has become my therapy much more than normal! I will continue to enjoy your videos and practice technique and enjoyment!
Thank you Mr. Davies for teaching me to be a fearless painter. I was terribly afraid to make mistakes until learning from your videos that they are easily correctable and even good. Painting is so much more fun and rewarding as it flows from the soul to the paint unhindered by self imposed barriers.

Just wanna see more hope in your drama pics Stuart….
I wonder if you have any thought on the following: often the landscapes, your are are good example of this, are painted as viewed from a distance of course, but also from an elevated position and thus give an excellent perspective and depth. But, when it comes to hanging them on the wals, they are usually hang in the homes above the eye level especially when one is sitting down. This couses a distortion and somewhat confuses the eye in my opinion. Have you had this problem before? What are your thoughts on this? Have you ever hang a painting really low on the wall to get the best of the perspective?
