I totally hear you when you talk about outside noises while recording. Sometimes I end up screaming and cussing at the wild motorcycle riders or the big semi’s that go down our major highway nearby. Right now I have the added joy of a new construction site happening one block away. And then there’s a train just two blocks away. You are absolutely right, we do not really know how noisy the world is until we need it to be quiet. Thank you for the chat. It was quite enjoyable. And that plastic! 🤤😴

I think it's super interesting who's been told to shield and who hasn't. My mum has RA and hasn't been told to shield. We've not let her out of the house other than for medical reasons though.
She's bought so many books to keep herself entertained that the living room looks like a higgledy-piggledy bookshop 🤣
