I came to YouTube and search for poetry being read in a Dubliner accent (the softest, most soothing, yet down to earth and accessible!), and your video came up first. I had never heard of ASMR, so I looked it up and certainly have experienced it. It's actually something I thrive on! I listened to a couple other of your videos. It's funny, because I though the poetry reading and just talking would be what give me a sensory/emotional response, but it was actually the random sounds that did! I first felt something intense thanks to a response to your affirmations, saying "you are loved" and "you are beautiful," along with "I love you." Reminded me a bit of in Harry Potter when his mom is telling him as a baby that he is loved. It was beautiful to hear you say "I will protect you." It brought intense response and calming. I think my soul was kicking around so make my body respond. 🙂 After that, I crazily loved the "ska" sounds (maybe that was in the other video). I think my ears went up a bit at that. Involuntary bliss. And weird as it may be, I also love the small noises when your lips smack between words, you wipe your mouth, breathing. Those are all so calming. It's like some unexpected adult inutero experience. 😀 Anyway, thanks for introducing me to this. I'm now hooked!

I don't know how to explain it, but there is something very gentle and soothing about your voice that makes it very easy for me to fall asleep to. I've always had trouble sleeping, and I cannot express in words how helpful these videos have been.
Though I've never been a fan of poetry, I really appreciate it in your videos. It's been a nice sort of…easing into it and I've been enjoying it a lot more lately.
